The Lavender Top EDTA Tube is a vacuum blood collection tube widely used in clinical hematology. It is pre-filled with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA K2 or K3), which effectively chelates calcium ions and prevents blood coagulation. With stable anticoagulant performance and excellent preservation of blood cell morphology, the Lavender Top EDTA Tube is commonly used in complete blood count (CBC), blood typing, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and related tests.

Each Lavender Top EDTA Tube contains a precise amount of EDTA anticoagulant. K2EDTA is applied through spray-drying for even distribution on the inner wall, while K3EDTA is a liquid form. Both comply with ISO and CLSI standards, ensuring sample integrity and analytical accuracy.

Instructions for Use

Insert the Lavender Top EDTA Tube into the blood collection needle holder.

Perform venipuncture and collect blood until the preset volume is reached.

Gently invert the tube 6–8 times to mix blood with the anticoagulant.

Avoid vigorous shaking to prevent hemolysis or bubble formation before analysis.
